Hu Changsheng, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Fujian Provincial Committee and secretary of the CPC Xiamen Municipal Committee, met with Yin Zheng, executive vice president and president of China Region of Schneider Electric, and witnessed the signing of new business project of Schneider Electric on August 26. Schneider Electric will produce a new generation of digital green electrical products in Xiamen and put into the corresponding R&D and construction of advanced production lines. Since last year, Xiamen has ramped up efforts in investment promotion, valuing not only the introduction of new enterprises, but also the capacity expansion and efficiency improvement of existing high-tech, high-growth and high value-added enterprises. The two companies of Schneider Electric have seen steady growth since it entered Xiamen, and become the leading enterprises in the electric power industry of Xiamen.
The same day also witnessed the holding of the event of Schneider Electric 2020 Innovation Summit in Xiamen, which conducted in-depth exchanges on such topics as digital economy trends, green intelligent manufacturing, and intelligent power distribution, enabling attendees to experience Schneider Electric's digital construction at zero distance. Innovative solutions for intelligent power distribution and green intelligent manufacturing as well as Schneider Electric's star products were also shown at the summit. These products have not only guaranteed such high-level international conferences as the G20 Summit, the World Internet Conference and the BRICS Xiamen Summit, but are also serving several fields of urban construction in Xiamen.
Xiamen is one of the key target cities for Schneider Electric's investment and development in China. Schneider Electric's relevant person in charge pointed out that they will offer their support, through innovative digital technology, to speed up Xiamen's smart city construction and accelerate its pace of industrial digital transformation.
