The Eleventh Plenary Session of the 12th CPC Xiamen Municipal Committee was held on August 24. At the new starting point of the 40th anniversary of the establishment of the special economic zone, the Plenary Session mobilized to speed up the construction of a high-caliber beautiful modern international city, and took the lead in achieving all-round and high-quality development and catching-up. The action plan for deepening cross-strait integration and development was discussed on the Plenary Session, as well as action plans for technological innovation, optimization of industrial structure, enhancement of endogenous driving force, expansion of opening-up, construction of ecological civilization, priority development of education, health of the whole people, promotion of income increase of residents, and modernization of social governance in the city.
