The first seven months of 2020 saw an increase of 554 foreign-invested enterprises in Xiamen, with contracted foreign investment of RMB 22.47 billion, up 23.8% year on year. The paid-in foreign investment totaled RMB 10.982 billion, up 37.9% year on year. From the industry point of view, the service industry showed a relatively rapid growth in paid-in investment. A number of large projects have played a significant leading role. Xiamen has further raised its opening-up level since the beginning of this year, established and perfected the contact service system for key foreign trade and foreign-invested enterprises, stepped up policy publicity, and unleashed the policy benefits in a timely manner.
