In the face of the COVID-19 outbreak, the film and television industry in Xiamen is booming against the trend, and continues to release high-quality development signals. In the first half of 2020, there were 175 new film and television enterprises and 66 new projects in Xiamen, with a total investment of nearly RMB 30 billion. The 2020 China Golden Rooster and Hundred Flowers Film Festival and the 33rd China Film Golden Rooster Awards are poised to take off, which will further help build Xiamen into a global film and television city.
