Since the COVID-19 outbreak, the Foreign Affairs Office of Xiamen Municipal People's Government has made full use of various policies of inviting foreigners to come to China. In particular, it has given full play to the policy advantage of "fast pass" for foreigners to Fujian, and actively and effectively pushed foreigners to return to Xiamen for work and production resumption. As of July 31, a total of 104 enterprises and 549 foreigners from 32 countries had applied for entry invitation, covering areas such as commerce and trade, important industrial chains and high-tech projects, and including state-owned, foreign-funded, private and other enterprises.
