According to the ranking of "China's Top 100 foreign trade cities in 2019" issue by China Customs in recent days, Xiamen ranked 5th.
In 2019, Xiamen's import and export of goods increased by 6.9% to 641.29 billion yuan, accounting for 48.2% of Fujian's total import and export value. Xiamen had a good growth in import and export to and from countries along the Belt and Road, with import and export value reaching 202.19 billion yuan, up 14.4%, accounting for 31.5% of Xiamen's total import and export value in the same period.
Data show that Xiamen's import and export of goods amounted to 308.18 billion yuan from January to June of this year, an increase of 3.9%.
