At the June 7 China Golden Rooster and Hundred Flowers Film Festival Promotion Conference, Xiamen announced the 2025 China Golden Rooster and Hundred Flowers Film Festival will be held in mid-November. The event featured signing ceremonies for intended collaborations, plans for the 7th Golden Rooster Films Project Market, and launches of the Gold Light Project and Future of Cinema Initiative. Since 2019, Xiamen has hosted the festival for six consecutive years. Xiamen has continuously intensified support for its film and television industry. In the first half of this year 2025, the city optimized and introduced further supportive policies to promote high-quality growth in the sector. These measures strengthen full-chain safeguards across scriptwriting, filming, post-production, marketing, distribution, screening, and premieres, while enhancing all-factor support in talent, technology, and financing. This concerted effort advances the industry's high-quality development, accelerating Xiamen's vision to build a City of Cinema and Film and Television Hub.
