On March 26, during the BRICS Economic and Industrial Cooperation Exchange Promotion Forum in Xiamen, the Xiamen Area of China (Fujian) Pilot Free Trade Zone ("Xiamen FTZ") and Russia's Bolshoy Serpukhov Special Economic Zone ("SEZ") launched a "dual-zone" cooperative mechanism to deepen Sino-Russian strategic collaboration in enterprise and industrial development, injecting BRICS momentum into global industrial chains. The Bolshoy Serpukhov SEZ, a key Russian hub for high-tech industries, offers a dual-engine investment and innovation platform for global enterprises. Complementing the SEZ's R&D capabilities and industrial resources, Xiamen FTZ leverages its advanced port network, digital economy ecosystem, and internationalized business environment. Both zones will prioritize collaboration in IT, electronics, biotechnology, and other high-tech sectors, facilitating the flow of energy, talent, capital, and critical resources. The the Maritime Silk Road Central Legal District (Pilot Free Trade Zone) will provide robust legal safeguards for future cooperation.
