The 2025 Xiamen Advanced Display and Integrated Circuit (IC) Industry Project Matchmaking Forum recently convened over 300 participants, including entrepreneurs, academicians, financial institutions, and think tanks, marking the city's first event of its kind to catalyze new quality productive forces. Fourteen high-impact projects totaling 12.87 billion yuan were signed, featuring industry leaders such as Hisense Semiconductor, Q Tech, Wafertop, and Newway. These projects, focusing on strengthening, supplementing, and extending industrial chains, will bolster the resilience and competitiveness of Xiamen's advanced display and IC sectors, which currently generate nearly 120 billion yuan in annual output and encompass over 2,000 upstream and downstream enterprises.
