On March 4, the cargo vessel "Haifeng Bailong" departed from Xiamen Haitian Wharf, marking the start of a new journey to the Philippines. This voyage signifies that the domestic first "Silk Road Maritime" e-commerce express line has now processed over 2 million cross-border e-commerce parcels. Utilizing the "Silk Road Maritime" integrated logistics platform, Xiamen is advancing in the emerging cross-border e-commerce sector by introducing the nation's inaugural "Silk Road Maritime" e-commerce express line. This service facilitates the swift transportation of goods internationally through the "two ports and one flight" approach, effectively addressing the B2C order requirements for small parcels, a variety of products, and frequent shipments. Since its inception in June 2022, this shipping route has successfully managed a total of 93,000 TEUs in container throughput, which encompasses more than 2 million cross-border e-commerce parcels.
