Recently, Tan Kah Kee Innovation Laboratory and Huawei have entered into a cooperation agreement to collaboratively establish a Smart Energy Joint Innovation Laboratory. Both Parties will engage in joint efforts to promote original technology research and expedite the industrialization of innovative outcomes. Tan Kah Kee Innovation Laboratory has been collaboratively established by the city of Xiamen and Xiamen University, and it is one of the first provincial innovation laboratories in Fujian Province. Huawei, a leading force in China's high-tech sector, exhibits significant technological expertise across telecommunications, AI, semiconductor solutions, intelligent driving systems, and cloud computing services. The Parties will engage in comprehensive collaboration focused on technological innovation and its application in the domains of AI, new energy, and new materials, along with smart laboratory system development and the execution of demonstration projects for smart industrial parks. This cooperation aims to facilitate full-chain innovation spanning from materials to applications in the energy sector, establishing a nationally recognized model site for smart laboratories.
