On February 18th, the Maltese-flagged cruise ship "Europa 2" docked at Xiamen International Cruise Homeport, marking the first visiting cruise ship of the Spring Festival in the Year of the Snake. Operating on a global itinerary, the vessel carried over 400 passengers from Ha Long Bay, Vietnam, for a one-day stop in Xiamen. Strategically located within the Straits Cruise Economic Circle, Xiamen boasts a diverse range of cruise routes. Previously, notable ships such as the "Mediterranea," "Silver Dawn," and "Zhao Shang Yi Dun" have visited the city. With the continuous enhancement of Xiamen's port services to accommodate large international cruise ships, cruise tourism has become a prominent feature of Xiamen's cultural and tourism offerings.
