On February 13th, the National Center for Public Credit and Geospatial Information of the National Development and Reform Commission released the 2024 City Credit Index rankings. Among the 36 provincial capitals and sub-provincial cities, Xiamen secured the top spot for both the month of December 2024 and the entire year of 2024. The city credit monitoring system dynamically evaluates the credit status of over 600 cities nationwide, comprehensively reflecting their progress in credit system development. As one of China's first demonstration cities for social credit system construction, Xiamen established a unified public credit information sharing platform early on and actively promoted innovative applications of credit data in areas such as financial services and public utilities. The city has fostered a positive cycle where credit building, business environment optimization, and economic and social development mutually reinforce each other. This achievement underscores Xiamen’s commitment to advancing its social credit system and enhancing its reputation as a model city for credit and business environment improvement.
