On February 16th, 1,770 SAIC MG new energy vehicles (NEVs) were prepared for shipment at Xiamen Modern Terminal, loaded onto the Swiss roll-on/roll-off vessel bound for the UK. This marks the largest single export order to the UK from Fujian Province this year. Located in Xiamen's Dongdu Port Area, the Modern Terminal boasts Fujian's first dedicated roll-on/roll-off berth for commercial vehicles, with an annual handling capacity of 140,000 units. It serves destinations across Europe, Southeast Asia, and other regions along the Belt and Road. The terminal has innovatively introduced a combined online and offline dual-linkage model to ensure safe and efficient vehicle loading and unloading operations.
