On the morning of February 5th, the Xiamen CALB High-Performance Lithium Battery Project officially commenced. With a total investment of 15 billion yuan, the project is designed to have a planned capacity of 30GWh. Upon completion, the CALB Xiamen base will become a green, modern, and intelligent benchmark in the new energy sector, boasting an annual production capacity of 60GWh. This development will significantly contribute to Xiamen's goal of transforming into an innovative hub for the new energy industry. This year, the city has initiated and continued construction on 1,224 projects, each exceeding 100 million yuan, with an annual planned investment of 285.2 billion yuan. Among these, 96 projects are scheduled to commence in the first quarter, involving an annual planned investment of 31.5 billion yuan. Notable projects include the Anta Global Innovation and R&D Center, the Sino-Singapore (Xiamen) Membrane and Graphene Industrial Park, and the Songtai Mining Headquarters Building.
