On the morning of January 15, Xiamen Port launched its first foreign trade route of the year, the Southeast Asia CHL2 route, with the container ship "DEAR PANEL" setting sail from SkyPier to Southeast Asia. With this addition, Xiamen Port now operates 96 "Belt and Road" routes, connecting 60 ports in 21 "Belt and Road" partner countries. This new route optimizes the transport path, shortening the cargo delivery time between China and Thailand, allowing products from Xiamen and surrounding areas to enter the Thai market more quickly and promote regional trade cooperation. Data shows that by December 2024, Xiamen Port had 186 container liner routes, including 145 foreign trade routes, connecting 152 ports in 49 countries and regions.
