On January 7, Xiamen's Southern Xiang'an area hosted its inaugural Scenario Innovation Promotion Conference and the launch of its first opportunity list, along with the debut of a Scenario Innovation Promotion Platform. The conference brought together industry experts, entrepreneurs, investors, and government representatives to explore pathways and opportunities for scenario-based innovation. The event emphasized scenario applications as the core driving force and focused on promoting innovative applications in four key sectors: hydrogen energy and energy storage, unmanned systems for sea and air, next-generation information technology, and future pharmaceuticals. A total of 22 scenario opportunities were unveiled. These opportunities leverage the “4+3” industrial framework of the Southern Xiang’an area, along with its abundant scientific and technological resources and the functional and policy advantages of the comprehensive bonded zone. Additionally, a series of major engineering projects in the area have created extensive application spaces for scenario-based innovation.
