Recently, the Xiamen Torch Development Zone for High Technology Industries announced plans to build the Fujian (Xiamen) Artificial Intelligence Industrial Park in Phase III, Zone F of the Software Park. The planned area covers 1 square kilometer, with 1.44 million square meters of R&D space, of which 970,000 square meters have already been completed and delivered. The park will feature functional zones focusing on R&D incubation, demonstration of innovative scenarios, and thematic spaces for areas such as AI models, intelligent computing power, and AI+ industry applications. Plans also include establishing a testing and pilot production base for AI-related industries and attracting hardware manufacturers such as smart chip and intelligent sensor companies. By 2027, the industrial park aims to have its AI industry contribute more than two-thirds of the city's total AI industry output, forming a robust AI ecosystem.
