On December 22, the 2024 Xiamen Alumni Economic Alliance Conference was held, bringing together nearly 500 outstanding alumni representatives from 111 prestigious universities across China to promote the high-quality development of Xiamen's alumni economy. During the event, 11 distinguished entrepreneurs and public figures were appointed as the third group of Xiamen Investment Advisors, and 20 individuals were named as Investment Promotion Advisors. The conference also featured the signing of 32 alumni investment projects, with a planned total investment of 14.25 billion yuan. These projects align closely with Xiamen's "4+4+6" modern industrial system, covering industries such as new energy, new materials, biomedicine, integrated circuits, software and information, artificial intelligence, deep-sea and aerospace development, financial services, and commercial logistics. The Alumni Economic Alliance represents a new organizational model designed to adapt to the demands of an open, innovative, and shared new economy, breaking the traditional boundaries of alumni networks and geographical constraints. It aims to connect startups and high-tech enterprises with capital and technology, creating opportunities for alumni, value for universities, and a promising future for the city.
