From January to November, Xiamen hosted 166 exhibitions with a total area of approximately 2.35 million square meters, up 14.58% year-on-year. The city also held 4,145 conferences with about 740,000 attendees, a 2.57% increase year-on-year, generating an economic impact of approximately 28.7 billion yuan, up 10.64% year-on-year. Recently, at the 2024 China Exhibition City Industry Cooperation Conference and the release of the Exhibition City Competitiveness Index, Xiamen's convention and exhibition industry ranked 10th nationwide in the "2023 China Most Competitive Exhibition Cities" list, climbing two places compared to the previous year.
