CATL hosts EVOGO Conference in Xiamen

On December 18, CATL held its EVOGO Conference in Xiamen, unveiling the latest generation of its EVOGO solution and introducing the No. 20 and No. 25 standard battery blocks. Originally launched in 2022, the EVOGO is a modular battery designed for shared swapping systems, with a shape resembling a chocolate bar. The new generation enables cross-brand and cross-model compatibility within the battery swap ecosystem. CATL plans to build 1,000 EVOGO Stations next year. Chairman and CEO Zeng Yuqun announced that all of CATL's future battery technologies will be applied to EVOGO models. The new products will first roll out in Xiamen, where CATL launched its battery swap services in 2022, making Xiamen the first city in its network to adopt a sustainable battery swap ecosystem. Currently, CATL has established 15 passenger vehicle battery swap stations in the city.
