Recently, CCID Consulting, under the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, released its 2024 China City Digital Economy Development Report and unveiled the list of the Top 100 Cities for Digital Economy. Xiamen made the list and ranked 2nd among cities in the incubation phase of digital economy development. In recent years, Xiamen has seized the opportunity presented by the digital economy’s innovation-intensive and high-growth period. The city has focused on digital industrialization and industrial digitalization as its core strategies, driving high-quality growth in the sector. Additionally, a series of strong policies and measures have provided robust institutional support for the healthy development of Xiamen’s digital economy.
