On December 3, 2024, the Civil Aviation Materials Development Conference officially opened in Xiamen. Over 200 delegates from more than 70 organizations gathered to discuss the establishment of a healthy ecosystem for civil aviation material support. At the conference, the establishment of the China Civil Aviation Equipment Industry Development Alliance was announced. This new collaborative organization was initiated by 11 entities, including Aviation Industry Corporation of China, Ltd., China Eastern Airlines Corporation Limited, and Iport Group. The Alliance will focus on promoting the application of civil aviation materials in China and supporting the establishment of the national civil aviation industrial system, while also driving innovation in the supply chain for aviation materials. During the event, Iport Group and China Aviation Supplies Holding Company signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement. The two organizations will combine their resources to foster comprehensive collaboration across various sectors, working together to help Xiamen become a key hub for the development of the aviation industry.
