First China-Europe "Fast Track" freight train departs Xiamen

On November 27, a freight train carrying daily goods departed from Xiamen International Logistics Port, bound for Russia's Tolyatti via the Manzhouli port. This is the first China-Europe freight train in Fujian Province to use the "Fast Track" model for customs clearance. Under this model, goods are declared for customs in Xiamen and pass through the port for fast clearance. The "Fast Track" is a facilitation measure launched by the General Administration of Customs and China Railway to promote the high-quality construction of the Belt and Road Initiative and the development of international rail freight transport. With "Fast Track" clearance at Xiamen, goods do not require further customs procedures at the destination port, but only need to complete railway transshipment before export. This year, Xiamen Customs has guided enterprises in 66 "Fast Track" declarations, covering all three China-Europe freight train platforms in the region, further supporting local product exports.
