FedEx fully upgrades Xiamen to USA freight route

On November 21st, the launch ceremony for the full upgrade of FedEx's Xiamen to USA freight route took place. FedEx announced the encryption of international freight route from Xiamen, China to the United States, and opened the Xiamen International Port Operation Center. FedEx is currently the only international express company that has opened an all-cargo international route in Xiamen. This route departs from Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport, with a stopover in Incheon, Republic of Korea, connecting to Anchorage, Alaska and Memphis, Tennessee in the United States. It adds Memphis as a new international waypoint for Xiamen Gaoqi Airport. In March last year, FedEx signed a contract with Xiamen Municipal Government to establish a strategic cooperative relationship. The official operation of the new route and the establishment of the Xiamen International Port Operation Center are significant steps in FedEx's implementation of the strategic cooperation between both parties. These initiatives will also help enhance Xiamen's international competitiveness in the logistics sector, contributing to its development as an "international logistics hub city and a logistics center city on the southeast coast."
