Recently, Hitachi Energy celebrated the 25th anniversary of its manufacturing base in Xiamen, Hitachi Energy High Voltage Switchgear Co., Ltd. It was announced that Hitachi Energy will invest in a new production line at the Xiamen base and upgrade its production equipment to better meet market demands. Hitachi Energy set up its manufacturing base for Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) and Gas Insulated Lines (GIL) in Xiamen Torch High-Tech Industrial Development Zone in 1999. Over the past 25 years, Hitachi Energy High Voltage Switchgear Co., Ltd. has promoted local innovation, developing a comprehensive high-voltage switchgear industry base that integrates R&D, testing, manufacturing, training, and services. The company now offers a full range of products from 72.5kV to 1200kV, supplying over 2,000 substation projects both domestically and internationally. Its overseas business has expanded to more than 60 countries and regions, serving clients in power grids, renewable energy, data centers, and other industries.
