Led by the Xiamen Marine High-Tech Industrial Park, Xiamen's annual marine industry investment event featured key maritime-related enterprises, institutions, and investors from within and outside the province. During the 2024 East Asian Seas Congress and Global Ocean Week in Xiamen, a series of marine industry investment promotion activities took place. These events leveraged Xiamen's rich marine resources and industrial foundation to create a platform for showcasing new technologies, promoting innovative products, and developing new business opportunities, reinforcing Xiamen's status as a hub for the marine economy. Over the course of the 2024 East Asian Seas Congress and Global Ocean Week in Xiamen, 21 marine industry and infrastructure projects were signed, spanning strategic emerging sectors such as marine pharmaceuticals and bioproducts, high-end marine equipment, and new marine materials.
