On October 22, Huawei officially launched HarmonyOS, China's first homegrown mobile operating system, now recognized as the third major global mobile OS alongside Apple's iOS and Android. Xiamen has a strong connection with Huawei HarmonyOS; as early as 2022, Huawei established the nation's first developer innovation center in Xiamen's Software Park Phase I, aiming to empower businesses' digital transformation, promote innovative applications, and support local developer talent. In the first three quarters of this year, the center enabled 120 enterprises in Fujian Province, delivering over 60 technical solutions across healthcare, education, optoelectronics, transportation, and intelligent manufacturing. Additionally, the center collaborated with Xiamen-based firms such as Meet You, GOPRO, and XINUO to develop domestic products.
