October traditionally marks the peak export season. Since the start of this month, Xiamen Port has launched two new shipping routes, including the Red Sea route and the Japan route. In the first nine months of this year, Xiamen Port introduced new routes to North America, Australia, New Zealand, and the Philippines, bringing the total number of routes to over 180, connecting 149 ports across 49 countries and regions. In the fourth quarter, Xiamen Port will continue to attract investment and promote the extensive application of projects like smart terminals to further optimize its world-class international business environment. These efforts aim to solidify Xiamen Port’s position as the 13th largest container hub globally, further accelerating the city’s role as a key node in the new development framework.
