Xiamen is home to notable achievements such as the world’s first hepatitis E vaccine, China’s first long-acting interferon (Peginterferon), the world’s third and China’s first bivalent cervical cancer vaccine, and China’s first domestically produced Boron Neutron Capture Therapy (BNCT) cancer treatment equipment.
