World's largest operational clean energy Ro-Ro ship makes maiden voyage to Xiamen

On January 22, the first China owned LNG-powered ocean-going Ro-Ro ship with the largest cargo capacity in the world, the "SAIC ANJI SINCERITY," appeared at Xiamen Dongdu Terminal. The Ro-Ro ship has a total length of 199.9 meters, a width of 38 meters, 7,600 vehicle slots, and a displacement of over 40,000 tons. It innovatively uses LNG dual-fuel clean power, boasting technological advantages such as environmental friendliness and intelligent efficiency. It loaded over 3,700 vehicles in Xiamen and set sail to European countries, including the Netherlands, Italy, Turkey, Germany, and Belgium. This marks the largest single shipment of automotive exports from Xiamen Port. As one of China's "new three items" in foreign trade exports, Xiamen Port exported 85,000 new energy vehicles in 2023, a tenfold increase compared to the previous year.
