Xiamen initiates 63 major projects with a total investment of 115.2 billion yuan

On the morning of January 2, Xiamen kicked off the new year with a "good start" by launching 63 major projects with a total investment of 115.2 billion yuan. These projects span across various sectors, including industry, infrastructure, and social ventures. Specifically, there are 25 industrial projects with a total investment of 53 billion yuan, 19 infrastructure projects totaling 50.3 billion yuan, and 19 social projects amounting to 11.9 billion yuan. Notably, the BRICS PartNIR Innovation Center headquarters project signed between GenerTec and Huli District, with an investment of 5.51 billion yuan, aims to lead in technology, culture, trade, and modern services, striving to become a new industrial revolution innovation leader under the "BRICS+" initiative, enhancing the global influence of BRICS nations and creating a new platform for international cooperation. The commencement of these substantial projects is set to further propel Xiamen's industrial transformation and upgrade, enhance urban functionality and quality, and improve the well-being of its residents.
