Xiamen's Maluan Bay New City launches first China-Europe (Xiamen) freight train service

On December 6th, Maluan Bay New City in Xiamen inaugurated its first China-Europe (Xiamen) freight train service from its large-scale rail freight yard, coinciding with the simultaneous activation of the multimodal transport supervision center. This shift of the China-Europe (Xiamen) freight service to the new facility signifies a further enhancement of Maluan Bay New City's core competitiveness as a "China-Europe Train Sea-Rail Hub." As a key foreign trade platform developed by Xiamen, this major rail freight yard is central to one of Xiamen's five major logistics industry clusters and a regional inland port emphasized by the city. This development is expected to propel more "Made in China" products to the global market, bolstering the high-quality growth of the "Belt and Road" initiative and energizing Xiamen's evolution into a new urban development hub.
