On the morning of August 8th, Cui Yonghui, the Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee, welcomed Mr. TAN Hai Chuan, Singapore's Ambassador to China, and his delegation. Cui Yonghui highlighted the longstanding and profound friendship between Xiamen and Singapore, with both cities enjoying close-knit ties across industrial, trade, and cultural sectors. Xiamen has always been committed to creating opportunities for its businesses to "expand abroad" and "attract inward investments." Currently, preparations are underway for the 23rd China International Fair for Investment and Trade. Singaporean Embassy in China and Singaporean companies are warmly invited to join and grace this significant event. Ambassador TAN Hai Chuan responded, expressing hope for continued support from the Xiamen Municipal Government for Singaporean enterprises based in Xiamen. He also encouraged Xiamen businesses to invest in Singapore and view it as a gateway to the Southeast Asian market.
