The inaugural China TV Drama Conference was held in Xiamen on June 5th and 6th. Industry professionals gathered to explore the path of creating high-quality TV dramas in the new era, marking the beginning of a new journey for the high-quality development of Chinese TV dramas. Over the past five years, the number of cultural and film industry companies and institutions in Xiamen has grown at an average annual rate of 10.2%, with a revenue growth rate of 17.8% per year. Xiamen regards the cultural and film industry as an important strategic emerging industry and provides support and cultivation. With a focus on key areas and crucial aspects of the film and television industry, Xiamen continues to optimize support policies. Leveraging its unique cultural landscapes and natural resources, Xiamen has improved hardware and software supplies and established comprehensive film and television production services. As of March this year, Xiamen has had 2,350 film and television companies covering core business areas of filming services, post-production, software development, promotion and distribution, artist management, and industry services.
