The delegation embarked on a tour, visiting 4 international organizations, 4 foreign institutions, and 12 multinational companies in 10 days. Their efforts were rewarded with the signing of investment cooperation agreements with 5 multinational companies, including Essilor-Luxottica, GL EVENTS, Shenyue Dongge, Spire, and ABB. The visit proved to be incredibly fruitful, with the delegation achieving outstanding results. Cui Yonghui emphasized that Xiamen boasts a plethora of major open platforms, including a BRICS innovation base, a pilot free trade zone, and maritime cooperation strategic pivot cities. These platforms provide a superior and conducive environment for attracting and utilizing foreign investment, promoting high-quality development in foreign trade and investment, and further strengthening the advantages of foreign circulation. He hoped that multinational companies will continue to prioritize Xiamen, invest in its development, establish a strong presence, and expand their operations by introducing innovative businesses, projects, and technologies.
