On October 19, Xiamen's first cold-chain express train, the China-Europe (Xiamen) Railway Express Train, left Haicang Park, Xiamen's Free Trade Zone. It is expected to arrive in Moscow, Russia in 15 days after exiting Manzhouli Port. The opening of the cold chain express train marks the deepening of supply-chain trading by the Xiamen Free Trade Zone Management Committee, following the addition of the Taiwan-Xiamen-St. Petersburg rail-sea intermodal line in June this year. It is another fruitful result of deepening trade among BRICS countries and optimizing Sino-Russian agricultural trade exchanges and cooperation. By September 2022, the Sino-Russian line of the China-Europe (Xiamen) freight train had carried 31,070 standard containers worth nearly 7 billion yuan.
