From January to May this year, Xiamen witnessed an import and export amount of 358.77 billion yuan, up by 7.2% YOY; an import and export amount of 83.05 billion yuna in May, up by 11.3%, hitting the record high this year. Private enterprises represent the dominant group of contributors, embodying powerful economic vitality. Xiamen also keeps deepening its trade with BRICS nations. From January to May, the import and export scale of Xiamen from and to BRICS nations reached 28.34 billion yuan, up by 10.8%. Besides, increments are also seen in the import and export with RCEP member nations.
