Following tablet displays and the software and information service industry, Xiamen Torch High Tech Zone added another one-hundred-billion industrial chain. Xiamen Torch High Tech Zone achieved an output of RMB 100.66 billion in 2021 in the computer and communication equipment industry, with a YOY increase of 15.1%. Currently the Zone boasts three 100-billion-yuan industrial chains out of its five major industries. In the past year, the Zone achieved a total output of RMB 345.38 billion contributed by enterprises above the designated scale, accounting for 42% of the whole city and seeing a YOY increase of 13.9%. Major industries saw rapid growth, including tablet displays, computer and communication equipment, electrical appliances, semiconductors and integrated circuits, software and information services. The Zone added 9 state-level technologically advanced small and medium-sized enterprises rated as "small giants", hitting a total number of 29. The Zone added 179 high-tech, high-growth, and high value-added enterprises, with the increment ranking top 1 in Xiamen.
