Established in 1993 in the Torch High-tech Zone, Panasonic Avc Networks Xiamen Co., Ltd. (PAVCX) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Japan's Panasonic Corporation set up in Xiamen. As a unique production base for Panasonic's global digital camera operations, PAVCX has evolved significantly, reflecting the dynamic growth of its host high-tech zone. Today, it stands as a global hub for the production of not only digital cameras but also lenses and other optical products, catering to a worldwide market. Koji Yabuta, General Manager of PAVCX, announced plans to relocate a camera production line from Malaysia to Xiamen this year. This move, driven by China's robust supply chain and Xiamen's business-friendly environment, signifies a deepening of PAVCX's commitment to the region and a strengthening of its local partnerships.
