On January 29th, the Hurun Research Institute released the "2023 Hurun China Food Industry Top 100," with four companies from Fujian making the list, including two from Xiamen: Anyjoy Foods and Kingdomway. The list includes "Chinese food companies," defined as enterprises headquartered in China, including foreign-controlled enterprises listed on China's A-shares or Hong Kong stock market. The threshold for making the list was set at CNY 9 billion. Xiamen-listed Anyjoy Foods specializes in the R&D, production, and sales of frozen foods, while Kingdomway is engaged in the production and sales of nutritional and health food ingredients, pharmaceutical raw materials, and end-products in the nutritional and health food sector.
