Effective from January 11th, the National Immigration Administration has implemented five measures to facilitate the entry of foreign nationals into China. Nine international airports – Beijing Capital, Beijing Daxing, Shanghai Pudong, Hangzhou Xiaoshan, Xiamen Gaoqi, Guangzhou Baiyun, Shenzhen Bao'an, Chengdu Tianfu, and Xi'an Xianyang – have introduced a 24-hour direct transit service, exempting passengers from border inspection formalities. This applies to travelers who hold international connecting flight tickets within 24 hours and are transiting through these airports to a third country or region, allowing them to transit without a visa and bypass border inspection procedures.
