Recently, the National Intellectual Property Administration consented to the establishment of a national-level Intellectual Property (IP) Protection Center in Xiamen. This addition brings the total number of national-level IP protection centers in China to 69. With this approval, Xiamen will focus on new materials and biomedical engineering equipment manufacturing industries to develop the center, initiating rapid collaborative IP protection efforts and providing one-stop comprehensive IP protection services. Once operational, the center is expected to significantly shorten the patent examination cycle.
