On the morning of December 15th, the Xiamen International Expo Center held its opening ceremony. This new 300,000 square meter landmark venue, the largest exhibition center in the province, is now fully operational. The opening included a signing ceremony for several projects set to be hosted at the center in 2024. With this new addition, Xiamen now boasts three major exhibition areas: the Siming District around Huandao Road, the Fengxiang New Town in Xiang'an District, and the Wuyuan Bay in Huli District. The city's exhibition space has leaped from 200,000 to 500,000 square meters, significantly enhancing its capability to host various events. The Xiamen International Expo Center, with a total construction area of 1.1592 million square meters, is designed to accommodate a diverse range of functions, including exhibitions, banquets, events, sports competitions, and performances.
