A groundbreaking ceremony for Xiangyu Southeast Smart Supply Chain Industrial Park was held on March 23. In its role as an important backup for Xiamen to build an international logistics hub city, the Industrial Park will serve to actively stimulate effective investment, lead the integration and promotion of Xiamen's logistics industry, optimize the urban function layout, and drive the high-quality development of regional economy. Occupying a site of 343 mu with a gross floor area of 420,000 square meters, the project is located in Haicang district of Maluan Bay New Town, with a planned investment of 1.3 billion yuan. Upon completion, it will form an industry-city interaction with Maluan Bay New Town to provide comprehensive services such as collection and distribution, city delivery, industrial supporting and regional headquarters, and to enhance the service function of the new town.
