Jointly organized by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), the Fujian Provincial People's Government, and the Xiamen Municipal People's Government, the BRICS Forum on Development of Industrial Internet and Digital Manufacturing was held in Xiamen from May 23 through 24. With the theme of "seizing the development opportunity of Industrial Internet to jointly boost the digitalization of the manufacturing industry" and upholding the BRICS spirit of "openness, inclusiveness, cooperation, mutual benefit," the Forum practically drives the cooperation among BRICS nations in Industrial Internet and digital transformation, further consolidates BRICS partnership on the new industrial revolution, and facilitates the collective accomplishment of technological advancement, industrial transformation, and economic development. The two-day Forum accommodated a series of seminars and activities, and also witnessed the release of the BRICS Initiative for Cooperation in the Digital Transformation of the Manufacturing Industry.
