Officially taking effect on March 1 this year, the Regulations of Xiamen Special Economic Zone on Business Environment Improvement (the Regulations) is the first comprehensive and fundamental law of Xiamen for building the business environment. The Regulations feature institutional innovations in seven aspects, including innovating in a working and monitoring system of the business environment, creating a fair and open market environment, facilitating convenient and efficient administrative services, building a healthy environment for industrial development, and offering a harmonious and inclusive humanistic environment suitable for living and working. Since the enforcement, the Regulations have further raised the confidence of market entities and effectively promoted the investment attraction of Xiamen.
