On the morning of February 15, Xiamen Tianma Microelectronics Co., Ltd. (Tianma), China's largest and most advanced flexible AMOLED manufacturer, witnessed the successful illumination of its first batch of Gen6 AMOLED products, marking its official entrance into the production and operation stage. Tianma's Gen6 flexible AMOLED production line is the heaviest-invested high-tech industrial project in the history of Xiamen. The products of this project are curved screens and foldable screens, which are mainly applied in smartphones, smart wearables, and other flexible display sectors. The launch of this project will help make the capacity of Tianma's flexible AMOLED one of the top 3 in the world, comprehensively promote the further development of upstream and downstream enterprises along the display industry chain in Xiamen, lead the transformation and upgrade of the display industry chain, and contribute to the effort of Xiamen in building itself into an internationally-leading industrial center of novel displays.
