Recently, Amoy Diagnostics Co., Ltd. (AmoyDx) obtained the ISO15189 certificate issued by the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (AALA), symbolizing that the multi-technology platform of AmoyDx integrating PCR, NGS, FISH, and Sanger can now issue test reports recognized by international medical institutions, and the test results are mutually recognized in many countries across the globe. It is one of the few medical laboratories in China boasting a multi-technology platform certified by ISO15189. Report has it that ISO15189 is the recognition principle for the quality and capability of medical laboratories issued by the International Standardization Organization (ISO). Being standardized, normative, and international, the certification has now become a globally universal "ID" of medical laboratories.
