Recently, Xiamen has introduced six measures to optimize and secure talent services, including higher subsidy, spouse settlement, child education, personal income tax reward, medical and healthcare services, etc. For instance, any university graduate who comes to work in Xiamen will receive a subsidy ranging from 10,000 yuan to 80,000 yuan. Any high-level talent who comes to work in Xiamen will be entitled to buy a talent-oriented flat at 45% of the market price. Any talent of class B and higher level who works in an enterprise or public institution of Xiamen will receive a subsidy at a certain ratio of the part of his/her personal income tax retained by the local treasury if the annual personal income tax he/she pays reaches the given threshold. High-level talents of Xiamen refer to those talents who are certified as the following four classes: A+ (outstanding talent), A (state-level talent), B (provincial-level talent) or C (municipal-level talent).
